COOS Missions presents:
Kingdom Economics:
Creating Lasting Value Through Transformational Development
24 June (Wednesday)
7.30pm to 9.30pm
Via ZOOM
Church workers and missionaries around the world are increasingly using economic development as a powerful tool for ministry and to spread the Gospel. From handicrafts to livestock farming and small business initiatives, these livelihood projects start with the best intentions. But if we are not careful, passion without sound economics can inadvertently disrupt local markets and destroy value, thus hurting the very communities we aim to serve.
Drawing on the principles of Business as Mission (BAM) and concepts of Economic Value Added (EVA), Professor Edward Ng will challenge us to move past short-term fixes to build sustainable initiatives that create genuine, lasting value rather than unhealthy dependency. Come learn how to implement strategic economic tools that protect local communities, ensure wise stewardship, and foster both spiritual transformation and true, long-term prosperity.
