COOS Christian Education Department will be conducting the last Life in the Spirit training of 2024 starting on 15 October. It will cover the all-important subject of our authority in Christ based on what Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “BEHOLD, I GIVE YOU AUTHORITY.” All who desire to learn how to walk in their authority in Christ should not miss this training. Course Synopsis:
LUKE 10:19 (NKJV) – “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
The believer’s authority is a very important subject for your Christian life, personal life, and ministry. The revelation concerning your authority in Christ will impact your understanding of many other aspects of the New Testament, particularly Christ’s redemptive truths. It will enable you to live out the abundant life that Jesus promised to all believers and fulfil your divine purpose and destiny.
Many Christians have allowed the devil to steal, kill, and destroy their life and faith in God. Instead of living a victorious Christian life, they continue to live in defeat and bondage to the devil. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). This abundant life that Jesus has called all believers to live will require us to understand our authority in Christ.
This teaching will reveal a believer’s authority in Christ. It will change your view of your life as a believer and how you live and pray. You will learn what spiritual authority means, Satan’s authority and its limitations, and how to exercise your authority to walk in victory and be effective in your ministry.
